WHY WE'RE HERE
Black & Abroad is a multi-platform travel and lifestyle company that, since 2015, has redefined experiences for the modern Black traveler through digital outlets, international events, and curated luxury and adventure travel. We focus on culturally conscious experiences and serve as a crowd-sourced information hub for urban explorers, aiming to elevate the community through world exploration. Our collective of influencers shares their travel journeys to showcase familiar faces in unfamiliar places and highlight diverse narratives within the travel space. Through our own global experiences, we recognized a need for greater representation and a stronger sense of pride in Black travel. Despite the Black community spending nearly $63 billion annually on travel, industry representation remained lacking. This realization, along with our dedication to the diaspora and desire for change, led to the founding of Black & Abroad.
Our mission is simple yet revolutionary:
EXPLORE | EMBRACE | EMPOWER
