Out of 5 stars I would give Black & Abroad a 10! That's how much I enjoy their trips! I enjoy them so much , I have been on multiple jounerys with them. From accommodations , education, food and even the people, Black & Abroad delivers seamlessly. I plan on seeing Black & Abroad yet again for the new year! You are doing yourself a disservice if you don't experience Black & Abroad!

I 100% recommend Black & Abroad. It is especially great for the solo traveler. I went on the 2019 Year of Return trip to Ghana and it was so enlightening. Nothing like being around your own people. The trip was well organized and executed. Kent and Eric go above and beyond and I am thankful for having had the chance to experience this trip. No thinking involved—just get up each morning at the designated time and go. Will definitely do another trip with Black & Abroad! Thanks again Kent and Eric!

I had the opportunity to travel with Black & Abroad most recently to Cartagena, Colombia; where do I even begin? The experience was memorable from beginning to end. There was a tour guide for each daily excursion, which helped to translate and navigate our group. I had a great time learning and engaging in the culture of both the Colombian and Afro-Colombian people. We honestly got a true and real depiction of the history of Colombia. This was one of the best trips I've taken abroad in a very long time. I would definitely recommend Black & Abroad and gladly travel with them again in the future!

The Black & Abroad ‘Return to Ghana’ experience was amazing!! Kent and Eric went above and beyond in curating a trip that was truly a journey through every aspect of Ghanaian history and culture. You are immediately immersed in the culture: within minutes of touching down in Accra, I was literally whisked from the airport to the location of our welcome dinner and into the center of a group of Ghanaian children performing a dance to welcome our group. The hotel election, nightlife spots, and tours were all great. I look forward to traveling with Kent and Eric in the future. #BackToAfrica🌍

I had such a wonderful time with Black & Abroad in Senegal! It's a great way to experience a new place. They offer structure, but enough freedom to experience things in whatever way you'd like, which I really appreciated. The accommodations were beautiful and the guides were perfect. You'll be happy you went with them.

Going to Ghana with Black & Abroad was definitely the best decision I made in 2019! Trusting this travel company with my first big international trip was absolutely incredible. I never had to worry about anything while on the trip. Every day was an experience, from the moment I left the airport to the moment I was traveling back home. I was able to enjoy Ghana in the most incredible ways, from being able to learn about the history, culture and so much more. I could never have planned a more perfect trip. It was extremely organized, very detailed and curated for every type of person. B&A has set the bar high and I know that I'll be chasing an experience like this one for the rest of my trips. If traveling is your passion, I would definitely book a trip with B&A. Thank you so much Kent and Eric for the memories of a lifetime!

I've had the pleasure of joining Black & Abroad for two journeys so far in Johannesburg (2018) for NYE and Ghana (2019) for The Year of Return and NYE. Kent and Eric take care of their groups like they're family and go out of their way to make sure your experiences are unforgettable. The accommodations, the tours, the guides they partner with, the nightlife, and most importantly the travel groups are always on point. I have enjoyed my adventures with Black & Abroad and couldn't be more grateful for the memories they've helped create in my life. I could go on and on about well these journeys are executed and how much they'll take care of you. They consistently exceed my expectations and I will continue to travel with them in the near future. I highly recommend people unfamiliar with Black & Abroad to take the leap of faith like I did and sign up for a journey. You will be blown away and have the time of your life.

UPDATE - I traveled with Black & Abroad again, and brought a friend with me. We went to Ghana and both agreed that this was one of the best trips we have ever been on. Kent, Eric, and team are super organized and detailed. They planned an amazing itinerary. We hit the cultural spots but also had a ton of fun at all the best parties. The only issue is that they keep raising the bar. Traveling with any other group is going to be difficult. Looking forward to trip #3 with them!

Heading home from Senegal with Black & Abroad. Amazing trip start to finish. Great communication leading up to the trip, what we need, what we will be doing, what to pack, etc. They even sent us a playlist. They put together an amazing group of people and an awesome itinerary. I am looking forward to traveling with them again, and bringing friends with me.
