Sawubona! You’re finally here! We’ll whisk you away from Cape Town International Airport (CPT) after your arrival into the city and take you to your accommodations. After you get settled into your new digs, we’ll introduce you to the rest of your crew for the week; an intimate group of individuals from all over the world ready to experience a piece of South Africa’s culture and history.

Rising majestically above Cape Town, Table Mountain isn’t just a landmark—it’s an unforgettable adventure waiting to be explored. Join us for a once-in-a-lifetime journey to its iconic summit, where panoramic views of the city, ocean, and surrounding peaks will leave you breathless.

Today, we’ll be taking a journey to Palenque, a town established by runaway slaves with big African roots and a history lesson you won’t get in any textbook.  Here, we’ll learn about their music, dance, culture, customs and beliefs. We’ll tap into the rhythm of the town by taking drum lessons and learn how the hair styles of the local women played a very important role in their path to freedom.

Today, we’ll start with tapping into the culture of Langa, Cape Town’s oldest Black township. You will get the chance to learn about the local experience and connect with the people.

In the evening, you’ll want to get your flyest festival outfit together, because we’re hitting MILK + COOKIES Music Festival, one of the fastest growing events in the continent of Africa, bringing together talent from outside and within Africa for an amazing day of Black excellence. You’ll be partying with the locals and listening to the sounds of local and international artists. Feel the music, free your mind, and enjoy an incredible lineup of ground breaking icons and emerging talents in art, culture, music and fashion.
